Our constant pursuit to improve the world around us should be communicated clearly, quickly and accurately. From breaking news to corporate updates to multimedia showcasing Dow’s technology, see the human element at work.
Twenty-one Year 10 Triple Science students from New Mills School, a secondary school local to our Birch Vale site, recently visited the site to learn more about Dow and how science is part of our everyday lives.
Dow is honoured to have achieved Top Employer Institute 2017 Certification as it recognises the tremendous effort and commitment teams at Dow demonstrate in creating workspaces that foster innovation, collaboration and wellbeing.
Demonstrating Dow’s continued desire to reach out and inspire the next generation of STEM industries, 23 pupils from New Mills School were invited to Dow Birch Vale’s leading-edge facility to experience how the products developed at the site are used in industry. As Klaus Riber, site leader, explained; “New Mills were organising a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) day and were keen for us to be involved – we of course were happy to facilitate a day with the pupils.”
